A native of Skaneateles, New York, William (Ben) Eberhardt III grew up a product of Christian Bros Academy in Syracuse and later Saint Bonaventure University in Olean, New York. Following fifteen years of US Army Infantry Airborne and Air Assault operations in both peacekeeping and combat rolls, Ben returned to New York a combat veteran to partner with his father (William B. Eberhardt Jr.) in Dining Associates and Hospitality Concepts; umbrella companies that operate in multiple mediums of the hospitality industry.
Ben founded Hospitality Concepts Group which now manages 5 properties across Central New York. Recently, in partnership with Colgate University, Ben oversaw the multi-million dollar renovation the historic Colgate Inn in Hamilton, New York. The Colgate Inn is Hospitality Concepts Group's flagship property and has been reviewed in various business, food and beverage and architectural journals with a myriad of accolades. The newly renovated property has been referred to as the "Jewel of Madison County". Ben remains very active in all aspects of local, regional and state business growth development. He is actively involved in a multitude of boards and councils involving a variety of government, business, and charitable ventures. Ben and his wife, Kristen Schultz of Liverpool, New York are celebrating twenty years of marriage. They have three children and currently reside in Hamilton, New York.
